Joe King
Joe is an artist driven by the excitement of discovery and the satisfaction of artistic growth. This drive has lead him to be well versed as a painter and illustrator working in commercial illustration and design for businesses locally as well as the entertainment industry through music festivals, table top gaming, video games, and album art.
In 2002 Joe became a tattooer under the moniker Joe King and has since tattooed throughout the United States as well as Europe and the UK. As a tattooer he is dedicated to a client first approach and providing a balanced collaboration between artist and client. He is comfortable with large format design and planning long term client goals but is always happy to work with new people just starting on their tattoo journey.
In his free time Joe is an active member of the performing arts within live music, theater, and as a video projection artist. As a musician he releases music and performs as Toppi and contributes to projects such as Ghost Affirmation and the Concentric Dronecult. He is the Technical director for the theater company Ghost Features speacializing in small stage prodcutions and events. Joe's live productions and his work as a muralist can be found around lexington Kentucky where he resides with his wife Anna and their dog Tater.
