Pickman RETURNS!
I’m so thrilled to announce the return of our performance of Pickman’s Model. Ghost Features is a collaboration between Gareth Evans Adam Luckey and myself to produce small guerilla theater performances in interesting spaces. October 16th 17th and 18th we will return to the Scottish Rite Concert Hall on Rosemont Garden for a double feature from us and a soon to be announced partner in the festivities. For the poster I used procreate to illustrate our lead actor Adam as both Thurber And Pickman. This was a really fun piece to work on and I managed to stumbled into some techniques I’ll be using more often. My favorite part is the heavy use of lighting to create drama. In the play we lean into the lighting as a character unto itself so it was important that lighting be the emphasis of the poster.
In the performance I run a series of projectors and screens with color lights and sounds as well as original art created for the show. This year we are making some changes and improvements so if you made it out last year I recommend coming back out. See ya soon fiends.
