Updates - 08-26

TATTOO

August is now underway and tattoo appointments are open for now through September. If you would like to meet up at the tattoo shop to go over ideas don’t hesitate to reach out. Consultations are free and welcome any time with or without an appointment.

THANKS SO MUCH to everyone that I got to work with this past month. I was able to start a lot of really cool projects that I’m really excited about and felt challenged by the designs. I was also able to meet some new clients as walk ins and I can’t wait to see them continue on their tattoo jouneys. I’m available for walk ins most days of the week so if you have an idea and “today is the day!” Just give me a call at the shop and see when the chair is open. (859) 309-0085

The tattoo raffle has wrapped for July and a winner has been notified. I’m working out the details with them and will update once we have pictures. The august raffle will open soon with at least two opportunities to win the $300 of tattoo time. Didn’t win last time? That’s okay! Just keep showing up to support the arts and enter again.

PAINT

I’ve got a small mural booked for two of my favorite people! They are trusting me to go wild on a design for their shed and I’m hoping to start within the week if weather will stop being so damn fickle. For real, this thing is gonna be silly.

I entered a call to artists from the city and hopefully will get the gig. Regardless I like the sketch a lot and will be using the concept again so no loss there. That’s the perk of committing to drawing from yourself and not for the expectations of others. I’ll update with results and the sketch once the announcement is made. If I land it It’ll be a really fun painting project.

STAGE

I’ll be performing with my long time collaborator Ghost Affirmation (Nick Larkey) at Kenwick Porch Fest later this month and as soon as I get promo together I’ll share the details. Should be a cool performance and we as always are trying out a ton of new things.

Pre production. Has begun on Pickman’s Model year 2. I have a lot of plans for this years set design as well as the sound design. We won’t be running the production until October but if we want to hit our goals then we need to get busy now!

There’s some more in there but I’ll save those for another time.
